President and CEO, Ross Scovotti has assembled a team of marketing professionals with experience in information analysis and delivery, business-to-business publishing, webinars, conferences and interactive media. Combined, their respective careers demonstrate more than a century of media success in a variety of industries including woodworking, telecommunications, direct marketing, biotechnology and a host of others.

NueMedia’s executive team draws from a deep well of marketing intelligence and has demonstrated leadership everywhere they’ve been. Their relationships with top professionals in relevant fields have been used to assemble a team of collaborators that has transformed the NueMedia concept into reality.

Ross M Scovotti, President/CEO

Ross Scovotti’s career in trade publishing spans over 3 decades. During that time he has held every position imaginable from Sales Trainee to Group Publisher, participating in a multitude of different industries.

As president of SMR Advertising, his first entrepreneurial venture, Ross successfully built and developed an independent sales, marketing and consulting company, focused on aiding trade publishers requiring assistance in any/all of these areas of expertise. SMR specialized on publications in the CallCenter, Direct Marketing, Telecommunication and Home Improvement industries. Ross sold SMR Advertising in 1989 to pursue an even greater business challenge.

Assuming the helm of his second company, TeleProfessional, Inc., Ross took a floundering trade magazine in the depths of bankruptcy and transformed it into a successful, multifaceted, multimillion dollar publishing concern, boasting a 28% profit margin. Ross and his partners sold TeleProfessional, Inc. in 1998.

Today, as the motivating force behind NueMedia, LLC, Ross, together with his staff, have harnessed the power of digital media to replace obsolete, trade magazines with DIPs (Digital Information Portals).

Mike Venezia’s 30 year career began with the “internet of the 80’s,” the product tabloid. He initially worked on publications that served the Process and Biotechnology Markets. From year one, Mike’s career was surrounded with success. He received multiple awards including; the Rookie of the Year, 4 MVP Awards, and Million Dollar Media Sales Club at Gordon Publishing.

Mike joined the “Dream Team” at TeleProfessional, Inc. where he learned the value of properly addressing the needs of readers as well as advertisers. His efforts resulted in advertising revenue doubling for the first 4 years which provided the capital for the publication to invest in its editorial resulting in it becoming the best read publication during that same period.

More recently, as one of the most sought after Independent Publisher’s Representative, Mike worked on several titles in Design/Manufacturing, the most notable of which were NASA Tech Briefs and Appliance Design. For nearly a decade, Mike also represented WorkBench, a consumer/wood working title where he helped bring readers and advertisers together through creative out-of-the box ideas that benefited advertiser and reader alike.

His internet knowledge comes from working on the development and sales of the web offerings for several prominent trade publishers that include; Prime Media, BNP, Ascend, and Elsevier’s Science Direct, the largest repository of scientific data (over 600 journals).

Today, as Director of Sales & Marketing at NueMedia, LLC, Mike will refine and create new ways to bring members and vendors together. Through his years of experience and consultative demeanor, Mike’s goal is to bring about effective, efficient interaction to the commercial wood working industry. He will also be working together with the other members of the NueMedia Executive Team to develop a new model for eMedia sales and marketing.

Kim Kaiser is president of Kimberly Kaiser, LLC, based in Milwaukee, Wis. A graduate of Marquette University, she specializes in freelance writing and editing, as well as website development and e-publishing for various clients.

As the Editor-in-Chief of NueMedia, LLC’s Wood Group, Kim produces a group of newsletters that address various, key industry topics, writes her own blog and assists in the maintenance of the corporation's DIPs that serve the commercial woodworking and countertop industries. In addition to maintaining the content of the sites, Kim was integral in the development and design on NueMedia’s four DIPs.

In addition to her work with NueMedia, LLC, Kim contributes to publications in the transportation, aviation and healthcare fields. Her career began at Kalmbach Publishing and Imagination Inc. where she worked on various publications. Prior to beginning her freelance career, Kim was employed by Cygnus Business Media as managing editor on Wood  Digest Magazine and Finishing Magazine. She was also a contributing editor for Surface  Fabrication Magazine. Kim has more than six years of experience covering the secondary wood products industry with a focus on the emergence of green building practices.
